This Regency Revival circular convex mirror dates from 1920 and follows a grand Regency style. The piece comprises a circular moulded giltwood frame finished in gold, decorated with a series of applied brass-toned spherules and paired with a reeded ebonised wood inner slip holding the convex glass plate. The frame displays relief-carved leaf motifs at the top and bottom quarters, along with visible dark patina, grain texture on the timber elements, and slight wear to the gilt finish. Measuring 45 cm high, 45 cm wide, and 3 cm deep, the mirror functions as a decorative wall hanging suitable for placement above a mantel in a living room, hallway, or dining space.
