Quality Antiques and Vintage has dated this Victorian Coromandel Dressing Box to the Victorian era.
This is an independent date report produced by Sellingantiques using its own proprietary system. The process uses the photographs shown on this page. The system is never told the date the dealer has declared. This report shows that the two dates corroborate.

Inside, the fitted interior houses five glass bottles with cork stoppers and a removable, divided tray lined in rich purple velvet, with further storage beneath. Engraved brass hinges and fittings add attractive detail.

A button on the internal back rail releases the secret front drawer. This compartment is arranged for rings and jewellery, with divided sections and ring rolls. Hand-cut dovetail joints demonstrate the quality of its construction.
