Elegant antique French gilt Louis Philippe mirror in excellent condition.

It dates from around 1860.

It has a beautiful Louis Philippe style real original gilt (gold leaf) on gesso frame with a shell and floral crest. There are no chips.

It has its lovely original glass with light foxing but a clear reflection and no scratches.

It would make the perfect overmantel.

The piece comprises a timber frame finished in gold leaf on gesso, centred by a decorative crest with carved flowers and foliage at the top.
