The rectangular frame uses giltwood, composition, and mirror glass, finished in a worn gilt colour with a dry appearance to the gilding. Detailed ornamentation covers the timber moulding, including carved scrolling foliage, cross-hatch diapering, acanthus details, and shaped moulded corners around the clean 6 mm glass plate.
