Marylebone Antiques has dated this Victorian Carved Mahogany Armchair to the 1850s.
The quality is outstanding, this has to be one of the finest examples we have come across.
It stands on beautifully curved cabriole legs terminating in porcelain casters, this is a great size and it is extremely comfortable. It is upholstered in a gorgeous leather which has a beautiful colour tone and patina.

We have had the frame polished, the leather has been enhanced and revived by our leather restorer. The condition is excellent for its age with only some extremely minor wear.
