A beautiful harlequin (closely matched) set of eight Lancashire spindleback chairs from the late 18th Century. Probably put together and re-rushed by Browns of Hereford in the 1970/80''s such is their quality. The top rail has the wheat ears which many people many people find more desirable. Made mainly from fruit woods and have a marvellous patination. The rush seats are in super condition as you would expect and now have mellowed in colour nicely.
