Regency Officers Campaign Writing Slope

An impressive large Regency officers campaign writing slope portable desk. Hand made in England from rosewood with inlaid brass edging and stringing, dating from circa.1820-30. The interior contains various compartments, three hidden secret drawers and a double fold faded red velvet writing surface and a gilt embossed red leather correspondence holder. 50.8cms wide, 26.7cms deep and 19.7cms tall.
