Fabulous matched pair of classic Windsor chairs circa 1840 in yew & elm, one impress marked by the Nottinghamshire master chair maker J Spencer. The chairs have great colour & patination, they are in good condition for age.
Classic hooped stick high backs with pierced centre splats, swept arms on stick & turned column arm supports. Ring turned legs with crinoline stretchers.
Spencer chair 105cm tall with seat 49cm wide & 39 cm deep; the other 106cm tall with seat 50cm wide &40cm deep. Price quoted is for the chairs as a pair.
