Description

A rare Yew wood Windsor chair from the Workshop of Benjamin Gilling a chair maker who worked in the vicinity of Worksop town ,this is quite a rare chair as the back is higher than a standard low back but not as high as a high back,I’ve never seen one before but have recently bought 2 chairs of this height from the same source. This chair is in excellent condition with a pleasing untouched colour and patina, no loose joints
