Here we have a one of the finest examples of a Georgian Elm Suffolk Windsor armchair c1820. As you can see the chair has fantastic colour and patina. There is a broad top rail with reeded decoration. The rear slats, side supports and cross stretcher also have beautiful reeeded decoration. There are wonderfully shaped arms and arm supports. The seat is a stunning single piece of Elm and below there are squared legs with all round stretchers. A super example of a fine Suffolk vernacular chair in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 88 cm high 59 cm wide 42 cm deep.
