This Blue/Green leather Gentleman''s library chair with button back and brass stud work dating to the late Victorian or early Edwardian period is in very original condition, it has been subjected to very little refurbishment except for feeding the leather to the frame, sides and back, as is evidenced by the used look of the arms.
However, the chair''s seat has just been rebuilt and re-upholstered in new leather, closely but not exactly matching the original colour. It is an extremely comfortable and elegant piece of furniture.
