Victorian Walnut Brass Bound Box

Description

A beautiful antique Walnut box with a domed top and ornate brass embellishments with studded detailing. The lid is lined with blue silk effect paper and the main box is empty, making it suitable for a variety of uses. It also comes with its original working key.

It is in good original condition and although it has been used it has obviously been very well looked after over the years. There are a few small knocks and marks around the outside, general signs of age and light use but nothing detrimental and it has a beautiful patina. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
