A fine 19th century French side chair c.1860

Kingwood veneered frame with parquetry inlaid back splat.

Elegant cabriole legs with carved detail.

Well cast gilt bronze ormolu mounts to knees and sabots, with brass banding to apron and legs.

Original old tapestry seat — worn with age.

Good decorative piece with colour and patina.

Measures: 47 cm wide x 50 cm deep x 96.5 cm high.

Condition: Seat worn. Some marks to frame. Structurally sound and attractive.
