A George 111 Chippendale Period Mahogany Elbow Arm Chair C1780.
A very fine looking late 18th century, English arm chair of the Chippendale period, displaying several design characteristics of the era that support a reputable workshop.
A handsome George 111 elbow chair, with shaped top rail and ornate ribbon back splat with scrolling crook arms and channelled square legs, later upholstered during the mid to latter 20th century with 100% green cotton fabric.
A well constructed chair that sits well, no wobbles or loose joints, back from our workshop after an even polish and usual check over, minimal conservation.
