Light pours through the astragal-glazed doors and sides, illuminating the interior lined in soft cream water-silk fabric, a luxurious backdrop to the mahogany shelves. As expected with an antique of this age, there are minor marks to the lining, easily improved if wished, though they lend a gentle authenticity.
