In good antique condition throughout with signs of age and use commensurate with age. There is surface wear throughout including age-related marks, scratches and some minor knocks to the oak frames and seats. The chairs show some wear and rubbing to the edges and legs, with further light wear to the backrests as expected from use over time. The chairs remain structurally solid and sound with good tight joints throughout. Overall, this is a very attractive and practical set of late 19th century country Chippendale style dining chairs with excellent colour and character.
