We have a rather handsome little Sussex style late 19th Century armchair attributed to E W Godwin in lovely condition. It''s a very placeable piece and these look great not only in period properties but also in more contemporary settings.This one sits well with some lovely turning to the frame and spindles - the chair is nicely worn, especially the arms and we would assume the rush seat was redone at some point and is firm and good for sitting on.
