Antique Mahogany Ladderback Settee

Description

A wonderful antique mahogany ladderback settee, made in England, and dating from around the 1820-1850 period.

It is of superb quality and has a lovely country house design. The frame is beautifully constructed from solid mahogany, with a beautifully pierced back and amazing turned stretchers on the base.

We have had the frame re-polished, the seat has been re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is excellent for its age, with just some extremely minor wear remaining here and there.

Height – 38 inches , 96 cm

Seat height – 18 inches , 46 cm
