This nineteenth century Regency jewellery casket takes the form of a rectangular box clad in dark brown leather with visible surface wear and scuffs. It has a sarcophagus lid with stepped mouldings and a central flat panel, accompanied by an ornate brass keyhole escutcheon on the front alongside a pull drawer fitted with a cast lion mask ring handle. Additional cast lion mask ring handles decorate the sides, while the entire piece is raised upon four detailed brass paw feet.
