This fine set of eight Georgian dining chairs dates from around 1800 in the Georgian style, comprising six single chairs and two carver armchairs with warm brown mahogany frames. The design features serpentine crest rails, pierced back splats, scrolled carver armrests, and drop-in seats upholstered in patterned fabric. Visible details include carved woodwork, shaped legs, worn upholstery on some cushions, and sturdy construction throughout the suite. The carvers measure 97 cm high by 64 cm wide and 51 cm deep with a seating height of 47 cm, while the single chairs measure 96 cm high by 59 cm wide and 48 cm deep with a seating height of 46 cm.
