Description

Handsome George II red walnut set of 6 side / dining chairs; lovely original condition with a good rich colour; the shaped crest rail with a central dish moulding terminating in carved paper scrolls; above the solid shaped splats having an exaggerated curvature for lumber support; above the bell shaped seats with drop in upholstered pads housed in a moulded edge seat frame with shaped aprons below. Raised on bold cabriole legs with 'C' scroll carving terminating in pad feet. Having turned kick out legs to the rear united by turned stretchers.

Good original condition having a good rich colour and patina (can be waxed if desired)
