Antique Cane Back Armchair Birchcraft High Wycombe C1930

A very attractive English armchair by Birchcraft of High Wycombe, featuring a beautifully shaped solid wood frame with an elegant cane back and gently curved arms.

The chair retains its original woven cane back, which is in very good condition, as well as the original manufacturer’s label, confirming its High Wycombe provenance.

The seat is generously cushioned and upholstered in a pale green patterned fabric, offering comfortable support while complementing the warm tone of the wood.

The proportions and lower seat height give the chair a relaxed, lounge style feel, ideal for a living room, reading corner or bedroom.

The frame is solid and stable throughout.

There are light signs of age and use to the wood and cane, consistent with an authentic piece of this period all visible in the photographs and adding to its character.
