Fine quality set of 8 early C19th William IV rosewood dining chairs.
 
Raised on shaped reeded forelegs with carved feet, the shaped ‘crown’ or ‘buckle’ backs above an elaborately carved lumbar bar . The drop-in seats upholstered in corded plushly fabric , all in serviceable condition.
 
The frames all in excellent original condition with no damage, breaks or repairs, with tight joints and no movement. The figured rosewood retaining its original polished surface and having achieved a rich colour and patina.
