A beautiful and extremely well made antique French gilt wood salon chair. This was made in France, it dates from around the 1930’s.
The quality is superb, the frame has crisp and intricate carving throughout. It stands on fluted legs, has scrolled arm rests, it is well padded and comfortable. It is a lovely size, perfect for use as an accent chair around the home.
The condition is excellent for its age, we have had it re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The frame is in lovely condition, with just some extremely minor wear here and there.
