Stunning antique French silver gilt mirror.
It dates from the early 1800s and has a beautiful real silver gilt (silver leaf) on gesso frame in a subtle etched leaf design and a gorgeous ornate crest.
There are no chips or scratches.
It has its original mercury glass and backboards. Mercury glass was not made after 1840 and gives a sparkle and reflection like no other.
