A high quality English 19th century solid antique ash side chair in the Aesthetic style. A wonderful design, in excellent strong condition and still in the original finish. The shaped back rest has a a spindle back with a swirling carved roundel to the centre. The seat has the original bergere, ready for a cushion. The chair legs are well turned and connected by unusual X frame stretchers. Beautifully made, dates to 1870.
