LVS Decorative Arts has dated this piece to the 19th Century.

The arms being supported by turned arm supports leading down to shaped elm seats supported by four turned legs joined with a crinoline stretcher.
These chairs are in excellent condition for age with evidence of some old repairs (which is to be expected), are of stable construction and can go straight into a home.

Examples of similar chairs can be found in the book 'The English Regional Chair' by Bernard D. Cotton pages 182-183
The sizes of these chairs do vary due to them being handmade and also wood moves over a period of years.
