A beautiful pair of Regency mahogany hall chairs by Gillows. Having shaped backs with scrolled carved decoration. Raised on octagonal tapering legs. The backs with a painted family crest cartouche of a wheat sheaf. Firm strong chairs in superb original condition throughout with lovely colour. Stamped to underside with the initials ''RC'' of which is a known and recorded Gillows cabinet makers. English, Circa 1815.
