Pair of Swedish Art Deco Armchairs in Satin Birch

1900 - 1920
Description

A stunning pair of Swedish Art Deco armchairs in satin birch. They were recently imported from Sweden, they date from the 1920-30’s.

The quality is outstanding and they are very comfortable. The satin birch arms sweep down the frames with absolutely beautiful sweeping curves, they stand on small tapered legs. They are well sprung and quite heavy for their size.

We have had the wood stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, and they have been fully re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is superb for their age.

Width – 26 inches , 66 cm

Depth – 34 inches , 86 cm

Height – 27 inches , 69 cm

Seat height – 16 inches , 41 cm
