Antique Georgian Inlaid Mahogany Table Top Mirror

Description

A fantastic antique Georgian inlaid mahogany table top mirror. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1800-1810 period.

The quality is superb, this is a large and impressive size. The mirror has a shield shaped frame, it is held by scrolled supports and stands on a beautifully shaped base. The mahogany has lovely inlaid satin wood borders, there are high quality brass fixtures holding the mirror in place and a brass finial at the top of the mirror. The mirror can be tilted and also removed for ease of transport.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There is just some minor historical wear and patina remaining beneath the polish here and there.
