Gilt and Gesso has dated this piece to the 1800s.

A charming example of a Georgian vanity or toilet mirror with several elements which set this apart. The cross banded mahogany base section with a serpentine shaped front and 2 drawers, each with original drop handles, upon ogee feet. The upper section cross banded shield mirror supported by shaped side supports with circular bone paterae.

A handsome antique toilet mirror circa 1800, just back from our workshop for a gentle conservation check over, tightening and polish, whilst retaining its timeworn, established patina.
