A super pair of tabletop microscope slide specimen cabinets in walnut and dating to the late 19th century. Each chest with a moulded top above a glazed door enclosing 19 drawers and on a moulded plinth base. With ivorine drawer numbers and label plates and ebonised knob handles, the doors each with brass lock and working key. Each collector’s chest holds over 500 slides.
