Antique Mahogany Oval Back Writing Chair.

Description

A 19th century carved mahogany writing chair in the Hepplewhite style, the oval back with carved swags and ribbons with fine top centre Prince of Wales feathers, swept arms down to a stuff over serpentine fronted seat, standing on turned fluted front legs and swept back ones. The chair bears the label of Heaton Tabb& Co Ltd of London and Liverpool. Good colour and condition with excellent carving. English Circa 1880.
