Sinclairs Antiques and Interiors has dated this Victorian Carved Oak Armchair to the Victorian era.
The open arms supported by barley twist uprights have padded elbow rests and carved scroll ends. This outstanding chair is of solid construction with barley twist legs, united by barley twist stretchers. The leather covering the seat, back and arms has some discolouration however there is no holes or rips. Like all antique furniture there are some imperfections however this is a solid chair with fabulous colouring and patina. A striking example of Victorian workmanship that will provide both style & function to be welcomed in any home.
