Condition Report:
This is a top-quality antique English single mahogany dining chair, from the William IV period, with a newly upholstered seat, circa 1830, ideal as an occasional, desk or office chair, in excellent condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the chairs but nothing significant considering their age. The single mahogany dining chair has been glued solid in joint and the chairs frame has been cleaned and French polished in our workshop by hand, to a professional standard, therefore the colour and patination is of an excellent standard. The seat has been newly upholstered in top quality structured cream brocade upholstery, featuring a cream background, with a pale gold structure and duck egg blue spot. The underside of the seat has been finished with tradition hessian backing. If you do not like the colour/style of the upholstery, we can recover the seat in a fabric of your choice. We charge £25 labour - all you need to do is choose and supply your material (the seat requires 0.5 metres of fabric). This single mahogany dining chair is all solid in joint and ready to be used.
