Set of Ten Lancashire Spindlebacks

19th century
Description

An excellent harlequin (close matching) set of 10 ash and fruitwood Lancashire Spindleback chairs with two carvers and eight singles. Possibly put together by Browns of Hereford in the late 1980's. Importantly, all the seats have been re-rushed and the whole of the set is in very solid condition. Always regarded as amongst of all country/provincial chairs and this set is ready to use for the next 200 years
