This is a fine quality antique English Chippendale wall mirror, constructed during the late Georgian period, in red walnut and encompassed by a decoratively shaped frame, circa 1790, in excellent condition. This 18th century wall mirror with a finely shaped and pierced fretwork frame; the design of which was typical of Chippendale design. The frame incorporates an old mirror, possibly replaced during the Victorian period, which is in good condition. The mirror is bordered by a decorative internal red walnut sectional moulded mount. The walnut wall mirror measures 2ft 9½” high x 1ft 6½” wide. The back of the mirror incorporates pine vertical backboards; new hanging hooks and string have been attached for securely hanging the wall mirror.
 
This small Chippendale wall mirror would look superb in most rooms, such as the hallway, living room, bathroom or bedroom.
