A fine pair of George I Mahogany Chairs of the most wonderful colour, in very good original condition.

The Shaping of the Chairs is fabulous especially to the back where the curve is concave and convex to the base making them remarkably Comfortable to sit in as well as aesthetically beautiful to look at.

These rare chairs are from the early Mahogany period, this form of shaping to the splat became fashionable during in the Queen Anne period.
