Unusual Victorian Oak Antique Stationary Box with Fitted Interior
This Unusual Victorian Oak Antique Stationary Box dates from ca. 1880. It is beautifully figured with a brass plaque on top and two cupboard doors. with a Bramah lock (unfortunately no key). The interior is fitted with two drawers having flush brass handles. This is a superb quality antique stationary box and the Oak has aged to a golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
