Description

A late Victorian  novelty snuff box carved in the shape of a coffin. There are two lids to the top. The first inlaid with a heart swings out and then the lid with the diamond which sits beneath swings out to access the contents.

Hearts and diamonds are traditionally used to represent love, affection etc.
