This Victorian wall mirror dates from the 19th century. The piece comprises a thick, moulded wooden frame with mitred corners, displaying a warm brown exposed wood tone combined with a distressed, worn painted finish. Historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations are visible across the surface, along with replacement mirrored glass in very good condition. Overall maximum dimensions are 147 cm high, 85 cm wide and 4 cm deep, with the glass measuring 120 cm high by 59 cm wide. Suitably sized for placement above a mantel in a home today, this wall mirror suits rustic farmhouse interior schemes.
