Lincoln Restorations has dated this Victorian Pitch Pine Cheval Mirror to the Victorian era.
A rare example of a full length Cheval mirror in Pitch Pine.
The mirror has a stunning colour which has not been stained or dyed but has

deeply mellowed through time almost having a Mahogany tone.
This Lovely mirror features a fully working adjustable tilt which can hold at almost any angle via 2 screws either side, adjusted by inserting a screwdriver to turn. The lovely

mirror incorporates tall finely turned supports with a pair of finials to the top, all standing on its substantial turned H Frame base raised on turned bun feet. The mirrors frame is mitre halving jointed for strength with an added moulding which frames its original glass. The mirror glass is in good condition and is the original but does have some minor pitting throughout in the silvering as shown in the pictures and light scratches in the glass. This mirror has obviously really been cherished and cared for all of its life as the condition is some of the best we have seen. The mirror is complete with its original French polished finish which we have just enhanced by carefully waxing to preserve this item for many years to come and to give a lustrous natural shine to the polish.

Please note: this item is in very good condition for its age but will have the odd blemish. However, we feel that adds to the charm of the item so we have left it untouched and original
