Description

Fine quality stylish Victorian prie dieu (Prayer Chair) with buttoned upholstery. Turned mahogany legs to front & shaped rear legs, white castors in swivelling brass fittings. Padded cresting rail extended to provide support when kneeling on seat for praying. This item shows signs of fabric ware, whilst usable as it is, may also suit recovering or re-upholstery. Also would potentially suit use as a nursing chair with the seat being 34cm high.
