A fine and large Edwardian bow fronted cabinet in walnut with a plethora of chinoiserie decoration, all set on a walnut backdrop. Condition is unusually good, obviously well respected by it''s previous guardians. The basic design has strong Chippendale influences such as the cabriole legs with the ball and claw feet. The silk interior is original with only a few blemishes. The shelf fronts also have chinoiserie detail to the front edge. Of it''s type and sixty years of trading this is certainly the best cabinet we have handled and certainly the largest.
