This is a fine antique French upholstered Art Deco lounge chair, with a reclining / metamorphic design, allowing it to transform into a day bed, constructed from solid beech, circa 1930, which has been recently upholstered, in good condition. The beech frame has been French polished by hand, to a professional standard, in our workshop. The Art Deco lounge chair has been upholstered at some point in the recent past, to a good standard, in good quality soft green slub upholstery, with a silk finish. The condition of the upholstery is good overall. The stuff-over seat is sprung; therefore, it is extremely comfortable to sit on. The stuff over seat is sprung and firm but comfortable to sit on; you do not sink into the chair. The Art Deco lounge chair is well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
