Fine Quality Antique Victorian Walnut Pier Cabinet

This Fine Quality 19th Century Antique Victorian Walnut Pier Cabinet dates from circa, 1870 would make an ideal piece of furniture to display those collectables or would even make a remarkable bookcase. This fine antique pier cabinet has a beautifully figured top with rounded moulded edges above a beautiful inlaid frieze. It has a central glazed door with key and decorative brass ormolu fittings along with beautiful columns down each side. The interior comprises of two fixed shelves with fabric linings and matching braid trim. This beautiful antique cabinet stands elegantly on an inlaid plinth and small turned bun feet. The Walnut is a golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
