Fine quality pair of 19th Century carved giltwood open armchairs.

With interlaced guilloche backs leading down to sweeping arms with lappet carving and further interlaced carving to the seat with carved rosette corners raised on spiral fluted legs.

Frames in sturdy condition, with original gilt.

Circa 1860.
