Circa 1860, pair of Louis XV carved and giltwood armchairs. With upholstered back and padded elbow rests, the top rail has a carved foliate design, and Rococo styled shaped arms. It has a large stuffover seat above a carved apron, and the gilding features minor blemishing due to age. Standing on cabriole legs to the back and similar carved legs to the front, all finishing on a raised toe.
