Two 19th century Indian tropical hardwood spice boxes,c1870. Hand carved they have great colour/patina . Both have simple sliding lids and typical carved decoration. The smaller one has 5 compartments and the larger one a void interior. Overall condition is good with only minor surface wear in line with age and use.
