The solid oak seats with channeled detail with re-entrant corners to the edges , the seat frames with panelled reserves to the sides and front . The scrolled and shaped carved backs with a central ribbed �shell� type panel . The reverse of the backs with carved-out concave �finger-grips� for ease of movement In excellent original condition with no breaks , damage or repairs. The seats of each with a shrinkage gap between the boards . Good mellow colour and patina, the backs showing subtle medullary-ray figuring to the well-selected oak .
